Christopher B. Kehoe was born in 1953 and obtained his undergraduate degree from Tufts University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and his law degree from Duke University Law School. He has practiced law in Easton and on Maryland's Eastern Shore since 1978.
His practice areas include: business, local government, real estate, land use, wills and estate planning as well as dispute resolution through arbitration, mediation and litigation. Chris has been a faculty member in continuing legal education programs on local government and land use topics. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Maryland Historical Trust, the vice chair of the Maryland General Assembly Task Force on Regulatory Reform, and a member of the Court of Appeals Select Committee to Study the Ethics 2000 Amendments to the American Bar Association's Rules of Professional Conduct. Currently he is a member of the Maryland State Board of Law Examiners, the Maryland Judicial Campaign Conduct Committee and the Maryland State Bar Association's Committee on Laws. He is a Life Member of the Maryland Bar Foundation and serves on the board of directors of that organization.
Chris is rated as "AV" (Preeminent) in legal ability by Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review rating system.
Chris is active in community organizations, currently serving on the Boards of Directors of Easton Little League, Inc. and the Eastern Shore Hockey Association, Inc. He is a past president of the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Council in Easton. | |
